Evans Enhance Floor Polish | How to use The new Evans Enhance Floor Polish can be used for polishing and protecting all types of indoor floors. It can be used for polishing new floors or pre-existing floors. When polishing new floors, you should make sure that the new floor is deep cleaned and degreased before applying the polish. Seal the surface with one thick coat of Evans Sealant B to create a perfect base for further coatings. After the sealant is fully dry you should prepare for polishing. Apply one thin coat of floor polish with a flat mop. Be sure to cover the whole surface evenly. The floor has to look wet but not overwet. Allow 2-4 hours drying times between coats. Apply 1 coat of primer \u0026amp; 2 coats of floor polish or 3 coats of floor polish. The floor primer will help create smoother finishes and it will reduce the polish absorption. If you are planning to polish an old floor, you should make sure that the surface is spotless and sealant free. To remove the old sealers please use Evans Easy Strip floor stripper. Dilute the product 1 to 500, apply the solution to the floor, allow 3-5 min of direct contact, scrub the floor well, extract the waste. Wash the floor a number of times and then apply the floor polish as described above. Refreshing old sealers is also possible but the floor has to be in very good condition.
