The new Amtico Dressing Satin is also compatible with other types of plastic floors that are water based polish compatible. Unlike other types of water based floor polishes, the new Amtico Dressing Satin is a non glazer, non glossy and non slippery finish. It can be used for polishing and maintaining indoor and outdoor floor surfaces (sunrooms or roofed external areas). Amtico Dressing Satin | How To Use Surface preparation is essential for achieving amazing results. The new Amtico Dressing Satin can only be applied over clean, unsealed and dry Amtico surfaces. To be able seal and protect your surfaces correctly, please follow the following steps: Remove all old sealers and old protectors from the Amtico floor. Use the Amtico Stripper to remove all pre-existing finishes. Deep clean the surface with a heavy duty floor cleaner if the floor was never sealed before and allow the floor to dry. Apply 1 thin coat of floor polish moving along with the fiber of the floor. The Amtico Dressing Satin will fully dry in a matter of minutes but the last coat of dressing should not be applied before 2 hours have passed between the coats. Maintain and clean your floors with the new Amtico Maintainer to fully protect the new sealer and remove all dirt residue. Amtico Dressing Satin | Recommendations Do not apply the new Amtico Dressing Satin over pre-existing finishes without firstly removing the old sealers. Do not apply the new Amtico Dressing Satin over dirty or wet surfaces. Do not dilute the new Amtico Dressing Satin and do not apply thick coats of it. One coat should provide enough protection in a domestic household but a maximum of two coats are recommended for commercial Amtico floors.
