While most single pack wood primers will require 2 extra coats of lacquer over the primer, the new Chimiver ECOPRIME HS 120 CROM | Solvent Effect Primer will only require 1 coat of two pack floor lacquer to have the whole wood floor refinishing process completed. It dries in a matter of minutes, it is easy to apply and it creates an amazingly smooth finish on the wood surface. Chimiver ECOPRIME HS 120 CROM | Solvent Effect Primer | Where To Use Such a strong water based floor primer should only be used on wood floors. It can be used to seal and enhance all types of real wood floors but it will only be visible when used on bright types of wood floors. The new Chimiver ECOPRIME HS 120 CROM | Solvent Effect Primer is suitable for all kinds of indoor use only. It can be used on any type of wood surface that is sealant free, dry and spotless. One coat of wood primer is more than enough to have the wood prepared for the final application. The hardener that comes with this wood primer transforms an already great wood prime into an excellent wood primer. Chimiver ECOPRIME HS 120 CROM | Solvent Effect Primer | How To Use It If the wood surface is sealant free, clean and residue free, the user can prepare for application. Bear in mind that the estimated coverage area of 10 sq meters per 1L of wood floor primer is estimated only. The actual coverage area will depend on the type of wood and the way it was sanded. Start by mixing the wood primer with the hardener and do not touch it for about 10 minutes. Using a small varnishing brush, apply one thick coat of wood primer around the edges and all the hard to reach areas. For the larger areas use a good varnishing roller like the amazing Chimiver Varnishing Roller. Do not walk on the surface for at least 1-2 hours. The better the ventilation the faster the drying times. The whole surface will have to be sanded 1 more time with 180 to 220 grit sanding paper to remove all the imperfections and to create a perfectly smooth finish. Vacuum well and prepare for applying 1 coat of Chimiver Ecostar 2K Floor Lacquer. Do not walk on the surface until it is touch dry. Do not apply more than 2 coats of water based floor lacquer. Do not sand the surface until it is 100% dry.
