Description
Light becomes part of the material expression in the Aegis collection by Sean Lavin, where a sculptural brass shade appears to hover above a substantial base. The contrast between the slender upper profile and grounded form creates a composition that feels elemental yet precisely resolved, allowing material and illumination to share equal focus.
A solid brass shade sits above a natural travertine body, with a black fabric-wrapped cord completing the tailored construction. An integrated 2700K LED light source is concealed behind a glass diffuser beneath the shade, casting a soft gradient of light across the stone and revealing its natural texture and tonal variation. A three-step touch dimmer provides effortless control over the illumination.
The Aegis MD Travertine Table Lamp is well suited for consoles, side tables, desks, and bedside settings, where the richness of natural stone and warm illumination create an intimate material focal point.
